Creating and Managing Seed Media Playlists:

  1. Access the Media Playlists Tab

    • Open Seed Manager and navigate to the Media Playlists tab.

  2. View Existing Playlists

    • Review any existing media playlists. Use the toggle option to filter by all playlists, live playlists, not live, or hidden.

  3. Search for Playlists

    • Utilize the search function by entering a keyword to locate specific playlists.

  4. Create a New Media Playlist

    • Click on "New Media Playlist."

    • Enter a name for the new playlist (e.g., "Kiva Media").

    • Click "Add Content" to upload new files or select from the media library.

  5. Select Media Assets

  6. Set Playlist Parameters

    • Adjust the time between screens to override default channel settings.

    • Confirm that all desired media items are listed in the playlist.

    • Rearrange the order of media if necessary

  8. Hide or Delete Playlists

    • To hide a playlist, select it and choose the "Hide" option from the menu.

    • If needed, you can delete a hidden playlist from Seed Manager.

Cautionary Notes

  • Double-check visibility settings to ensure that the playlist is accessible to the intended audience.

  • Be cautious when hiding > deleting playlists, as this action is irreversible.

  • Use descriptive names for playlists to make searching easier.
