Amazon Fire Device Isn't Working, Won't Turn on, or Shows a Black Screen
Your Amazon Fire Device performance can be affected by its HDMI connection and power supply. Make sure your HDMI, HDMI switch or AV receiver setup, and your power supply is securely connected.

Check your HDMI connection, power supply and power cable are connected securely to device, tv and outlet
- This includes the HDMI extender if being used with the device -
Make sure that you select the HDMI input that matches the HDMI port connected to the FireStick TV.

Check your power supply and power cable
- Unplug the FireStick TV power cord from the power outlet, wait 30 seconds, then plug it back in (also known as Power Cycle).
- Plug the power cord into a different power outlet or power strip.
- If possible, plug the Fire Stick TV device into another screen to test device.
